Proteus species have an extracytoplasmic outer membrane, like other gram-negative bacteria, which contains lipoproteins, polysaccharides, lipopolysaccharides, and a lipid bilayer.
Ha, no probably not. But you do raise a very interesting question about VR being a good tool for reducing social anxiety. Imagine being able to practice a speech in front of a virtual audience, maybe with smart enough AI to clap at the appropriate places. Or made up of other people virtually logging in with the idea that it's a support group where people are coaching each other.
Jul 05, 2016 The Brookhaven Experiment builds on the foundation of its popular demo and establishes itself as one of the premiere VR zombie shooter experiences on the HTC Vive. It doesn’t have a deep. We're counting down to the release of PlayStation VR on October 13th by highlighting one game a day for the anticipated headset.
Or maybe a simulator where people can attempt to approach and talk to someone of the opposite sex (in a not creepy way) as a form of practice.Would that all work? I don't know, but it may be worth some researchers experimenting to find out. I don't think there will be any issues if one plays VR a couple hours daily, but if someone plays VR for long periods of time (10+ hours a day maybe?) I can see this happening. It will have similar affects to that rubber arm experiment in which the brain thinks a rubber rubber arm is the real arm. The one where the real arm is hidden by a partition and both the real and fake arms are stroked by a feather simultaneously. Also, some hardcore Tetris players already experience this reality creep where they see ghost impressions of Tetris blocks falling in their vision. It will certainly be interesting to see how VR impacts everything.
